Weightlessness
≡ April 2026 ≡
Not easy to land after our tribute concert to David Lynch, IN MY HEAD under the gilding of the Théâtre du Châtelet a few days ago. Thus, to stay high, we keep going.
First of all to tell you that we’ll do it again in Paris, December 12th at the Salle Pleyel for those of you that were not able to have tickets or for those that would like to relive the experience. Tickets are on sale and, again, get sold quickly.
And if you live East, six months before, on June 12th, we’ll be in Metz, at the Arsenal.
To speak about this creation, I was fortunate to be invited on Radio France waves and you can listen to the On aura tout vu and Comme un samedi podcasts. You’ll hear, among others, our friend Pacôme Thiellement, astounding extracts of David Lynch interviews and some live music.
Another thing, I’m happy to announce the release of a new album: Gravity Lessons. Made of twenty instrumental tracks, exclusively played on guitar, searching the balance between gravity and flight, between gravity and smile, twenty exercices of weightlessness that will be soon released on a digital format by Signature label from Radio France.
The cover is, again, a painting by the marvellous Japanese painter Haruko Maeda.
April 18th, glassfuls of sonic joy at the Triton in Les Lilas for a special ears’ take-off in Jumbo modo, for such a rare concert by NO&RD and GLOYW with miraculous Régïs Boulard and John Greaves who I non longer introduce to you. What else to say about this duo and this trio that you don’t already know. Come!
And also to tell you that Dans la Chambre, the short-film by Géraldine Martineau and for which I composed a song handed over to Judith Chemla -the credits contain an extract- is available on streaming on France TV.
The days grow longer and the Blue Hour shifts, bringing night every day in Parisian 13th district. On Fridays and Saturdays around 8.30pm and during one hour, birds, lights and music encircle the underneath of the subway viaduct between Nationale and Chevaleret stations. A perfect destination to wander between twilight and dawn and float among city retuned sounds, a space to find back under the open sky our compass, this so precious compass showing us the here and all the elsewheres.
Let’s float without being blurry, let’s be precise and, everywhere, serious and smiley, while balanced, weightlessness.
