01 May Hundredth #100
Hundredth
≡ May 2025 ≡
Now comes the hundredth newsletter, written somehow or other among the rush of exciting projects to come that are already in the making. But let’s think about the presents of present time.
On the 4th, I’ll dive with Jules Verne to the center of the earth and under the seas, for Les Grands Récits Festival at the Saint-Germain d’Auxerre Abbey, for a musical reading voiced by Sylvie Granotier and directed by Blandine Masson.
On the 16th, we’ll dive further into cosmos and matter with Étienne Klein, for a newest improvised concert-lecture, a crossing upon the string of the unlikely and counter-intuitive, at the place where science reveals its poetic power, we’ll sway on the sonic and gravitational waves at the Bateau ivre in Tours.
Back on land, for the frenzied ballet of the bourgeois baseness driven by the vaudeville mechanics of Feydeau, orchestrated by Stanislas Nordey and completed by a diabolico mambo by yours truly. Welcome to L’Hôtel du Libre-Echange on boards of the Odéon from May 6 to June 13.
And will you be in Paris, do not miss Jean-Clone by Julien Mellano in Pantin on the 24th and 25th.
Just this once, to end with, I nibble at June so that you may book your evening as, will you be in Rennes on the 6th of June, and will you fancy, you are welcome at the explosive NO&RD and GLOYW release party that will burst at the Ateliers du vent with lots of jolly guests.
Here it is for my news. I still do not know if we’ll go on for another hundredth but the appetising things on the horizon should feed some of them.
Olivier Mellano
